Hoffmann Investigations offers an advanced course on computer forensics. Recognized experts will teach from March 16 to 20 at Hoffmann's office in Almere, NL.
Lance Mueller will teach a two-day course on the peculiarities of examining Microsoft Vista.
Remon Verkerkon will talk about Apple Computers and the iPhone. For the second half of the day Joachim Metz and Robert-Jan Mora will speak about open-source forensics, file formats and file carving. Metz and Mora are the authors of file carver Revit, and participated in the DFRWS 2006 File Carving Challenge.
AAron Walters is the author of memory analysis tools, among them the well-known Volatility. He'll teach on malware and memory forensics for two days.
The course is limited to 25 seats. Tuition is 1850 EUR and includes lunch and one dinner. The course is open to experienced examiners from law enforcement and the industry. For details please see original the announcement by Hoffmann Investigations.
