There's a new conference on the subject of digital forensics forming in Europe. The Digital Forensic Forum (DFF) will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on November 26 and 27, 2007. The Call for Papers is still open until August 31, 2007.
One might question whether this is the "first" conference for forensic experts, as the organizers claim. But without doubt it is more geared towards the forensic practitioner than "academic" conferences like the IMF. Somehow the description of the DFF reminds me of the DFRWS, which brings together researchers and practitioners once a year. Renowned experts like Dario Forte and Vlasti Broucek may help to carry the spirit of the DFRWS to Europe.
