TULP2G version 1.3.0.3
The Netherlands Forensic Institute has just released a new version of TULP2G. This program acquires and analyzes data from mobile phones.
The full installer package is available for download from Sourceforge.
With version 1.3.0.3 the mangement of plug-ins has been somewhat simplified. From the start screen a button leads directly to the Plug-in Manager. The program also includes extended versions of the SIM processor and the SMS/EMS decoder. A complete list of changes is available in the release notes.
Another important change: From now on TULP2G requires the .NET 2.0 Runtime.
An installation attempt on a system without the runtime failed with an error message of Error writing to file: TULP2G.Export.XML.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory. and a code of 2350. After all this message was misleading. Upgrading the .NET runtime to version 2.0 solved the problem and TULP2G installed smoothly.
