Accidentally I came upon three patents which are mainly related to debugging techniques, but might also affect the development of forensic memory analysis tools.
The three US patents in question are:
- 6694510 Collection driver for collecting system data using record based requests with tag lists and pausing all but one thread of a computer system
- 6804813 System and method for remote and local diagnosis using automatically identified symbol libraries to create record based requests with tag lists of data to be collected from an operating system
- 6983452 System and method for collecting system data using record based requests with tag lists and pausing all but one thread of a computer system
